Join us for a cozy and creative day, where you'll learn the twining technique of crafting beautiful baskets from various native and introduced plant species. This hands-on experience is perfect for both beginners and those with some weaving knowledge.

What to Expect

During this workshop, we will go over some local plant species that can be used for weaving, including how/when to harvest, store and prepare them for weaving. We will then begin crafting our own baskets, enjoying the gentle nourishment of company and creativity in a safe and cozy learning environment, as well as a wholesome hot lunch and many cups of tea.
